It is not always the amount of details that makes a good wallpaper. Sometimes, a simple yet unique idea (in this case to find a certain screenshot from an anime) can create a lovely wallpaper for Valentine's day. popiahime's "Pikachu's Valentine" is funny to look at (I totally love the bottle's design!), and it composes a sweet design for people's desktops. Even though I'm not a big fan of white backgrounds, this one fits really well to the composition and the rest of the colours.

Hi! Thanks very much for the comment, it made me feel all fuzzy inside ^__^ Yay, another Saika Kunieda fan! (lol, sometimes I get the feeling I'm the only one on the 'net who's heard of her) Truth be told, I liked the gray version at first but then the orange one kinda grew on me and I used that one longer than the gray one XD
Ah, well, regarding the blanket, I just cleaned the manga page up a bit and colored it with brushes (and sometimes shape layers, when I wanted smoother curves), the lines and details were already in the image and looked great so I didn't want to ruin them. Plus, I've been bored of vectoring lately and have wanted to make something "classic" (and I'm also a n00b at Illustrator, have barely gotten into it - I normally use PS). Thanks for the support again, it's very appreciated!~ bows

Lol an Sx5 rating!! @.@ Thanks so much for your support! The smaller file size is because I merged a bunch of layers - like for the bg dirt and most of the separately painted body parts. Too big and my photoshop starts to lag like hell... Luckily I'm saving up for a new desktop computer so I won't have to use my current 5 year old laptop for big photoshop projects.
